SHIPYARD
Shipyard is a very diverse community with residential homes, villas, timeshares, and commercial entities including the Sonesta Resort, Shipyard Golf, Van der Meer Tennis and Hilton Head Health.
Two single-family residential areas – Residential North and Residential South – wrap around the golf course area, and the 400 timeshare units are located throughout. There are also approximately 1,100 villa units that provide owners with amenities such as pools and tennis courts. Shipyard offers a great variety for guests or owners to enjoy and all enjoy the beautiful beach and the best pool ever – the Atlantic Ocean.
SECURITY
The property is managed by an on-site operation that maintains the security, the roads, the lagoons, and the common grounds. Safety is a prime concern in gated communities and Shipyard provides two manned gates and two roving patrols 24 hours per day. While you are here there is an abundance of nature to enjoy with biking trails, scenic areas, and lush semi-tropical foliage. The wildlife is spectacular with birds, alligators, and even sea turtles.
